Silga's steamer inserts are perfectly designed to delicately steam vegetables. They make a tight seal to keep the steam inside and stand up from the rim of the pot to increase the capacity. Consistent with Silga's Teknika line, the steel is very heavy so it won't warp, dull, or dent and the handles are spot-welded and remain cool and facilitate cleaning.
